<div><p style="margin: 0px;">Qualified candidate will have graduated from a recognized sonography program to perform high quality adult echocardiography testing. Candidate will possess a working knowledge of standard 2D Echo in addition to stress echocardiography.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px;">BLS w/in 3 months of hire</p><p style="margin: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><div><p style="margin: 0px;">Required: One year full time experience in adult cardio with registry or graduate of accredited ultrasound program with ARDMS/CCI registry.Neonate and pediatric experience or certification preferred.</p></div></div>

Job Summary

Performs high quality echocardiography testing. Assists in the daily routines of the Cardiology Department. Responsible for assisting  RN and physician in the set up and completion of comprehensive cardiology testing. Cross training to EEG specialty. Comply with the professional standards of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Core Responsibilities

Perform direct patient care specializing in echo related studies. Responsible for comprehensive cardiology testing on an as needed basis.


Maintain departmental records, assists with order entry, scanning and filing


Serves as a resource person/mentor  to non-registered staff assisting the department director to maintain a high quality of echo testing in cardiology. Assist Director of Cardiology Services in quality assurance assessment and improvement activities.
