(15 %) Surveillance: Manages and coordinates the collection and utilization of infection surveillance data throughout the organization
(15 %) Safety: Manages the development, review, revision and implementation of Infection Prevention policies and procedures throughout the hospital. Functions as the primary support staff for the Infection Prevention Committee.
(15 %) Quality/Service: Coordinates special studies or investigations in potential epidemic or outbreak situations. Assure data flows up to Board Quality committee. Provides infection control data as requested to internal and external customers. Support the department and hospital initiatives to improve patient and staff satisfaction.
(7.5 %) Education: Develops coordinates and presents infection control education programs to hospital staff and patients. Assists with staff education/orientation as it relates to infection prevention issues.
(7.5 %) Regulatory: Contributes to the overall goals of the Infection Control program to meet internal and external regulatory requirements
